As much as you want to have things go your way, if your situations and circumstances are not changing, then ask God what it is in you that He is wanting to do.
Most times God uses situations and circumstances to draw out the things that need to be worked on in your life. He will use situations, circumstances, and random conversations, sudden changes etc. to draw out the character flaws in you that need to align with His character.
Your flesh will always want it’s way BUT in your daily walk with Christ, look for the opportunitys of change, maturity, and growth being presented; perhaps even as an answer to your own prayer.
Being selfish is not a fruit of the spirit. It needs to be laid down. Wanting your way always is not a fruit of the spirit. It needs to be laid down. Anger to the point of sin is not a fruit of the spirit, it needs to be laid down. Impatience is not a fruit of the spirit. It needs to be laid down. There is so much more!
