It means to be fully surrendered to the only living God there is.
It means giving up the way you think things should be done in exchange for His.
It means saying yes daily to the narrow path; where you die to self DAILY!
It means allowing HIM to make you as surefooted as a deer.
What Does it Mean to Be as Surefooted as a Deer?
Being surefooted as a deer means to be steady, confident, and able to move forward securely—even on difficult and dangerous ground.
If you let Him, He will show you how to:
- have stability when life feels unstable
- navigate hard places without falling.
- move with confidence, agility, and peace—even in uncertainty.
- not panic but rather remain secure and grounded in Him.
- be enabled to go higher spiritually, where not everyone is able to go.
Being surefooted as a deer is a picture of divine strength, grace, and supernatural balance as well as thriving where the terrain is too hard for most. It takes hard terrain to reach this place. It is the hard terrain that brings you growth, stability, balance, strength and so much more.
Getting To the Higher Place
If you are made for such a time as this, then know that God has to prepare you for what is up ahead. The thing that is up ahead is far bigger than you. God does not want you to fall under the weight of your purpose, destiny, and calling. Once you say YES to Him, do not be surprised at the many trials you face. For that is part of your preparation. The fire and wind come to purify you, not to make you afraid and relent.
It is in and through the fire and wind that God WILL expose everything that needs to come into HIS order and alignment period! So pay attention. He has you right where He wants you (and your family). Embrace the process with joy for the joy set before you.
Ask God to give you the level of discernment that you need for this hour. You need to be able to tell the difference between what God is allowing and what part is an attack from the enemy. Ask Him to give you the level of wisdom, clarity, and divine insight you need to be able to navigate the season that you are in right now with God.
Let God do what He needs to in you mighty warrior for He is preparing your for this hour and for what is up ahead. He is answering your prayers. Things are not what they seem for God works outside the box of the human minds understanding.
Be blessed. You’re going to the higher places in God as you heed to this process and HIS instructions for you. Being surefooted as a deer means being in the high places where the enemy cannot even touch you. It is a high place with God. This is the place He has been leading you to.
