4 Keys to Drastically Change Your Life

These 4 keys that the Holy Spirit put on my heart to share with you are the very keys that have changed my life and shaped me into who I am today.  It is these 4 things that I embraced which in turn helped me through my purging season greatly.  Let this bless you.

KEY 1: Find a “Prayer Partner”

It is really important to have a prayer partner in your life and brought to you by the Holy Spirit. It’s God that knows who or what you need.  Someone you can regularly pray with and depend on.  There really is power in praying in agreement.

Lets take a look at the Word of God:

19 “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning
anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.
20 For where two or three gather together as my
followers, I am there among them.”

-Matthew 18:19-20 (NLT)
(Context Matthew 18:15-20)

16 Confess your sins to each other and pray for each
other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a
righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.“

-James 5:16 (NLT)
(Context: James 5:13-18)

Also, when you are the one going through something you may not necessarily be able to catch the clarity you need. There are many times when you have someone else praying with and for you, The Holy Spirit just downloads and brings you exactly what you need to help refocus and get you back on track!  The other person would be in a different perspective, outside your situation.  This would also work vice versa.  They should be able to call you as well.  In this way, you will help each other up the mountain of God.

I encourage you to read the above-mentioned scriptures in its entirety to capture its context. Matthew 18:15-20 outlines the specific steps on how to handle a situation with someone. Take a look and let the Holy Spirit speak to you.

KEY 2:  Have an “Accountability Partner”

According to the Google dictionary, the meaning of “accountability” is:

Noun: the fact or condition of being accountable; responsibility

If you are ready to have an accountability partner, it means you are ready to be responsible for your own actions.

There is power in having an accountability partner where you both can hold each other accountable for your actions in many situations and circumstances.

It would be a person that you are comfortable to openly talk about the situations and circumstances you are going through. A person that you can confess your wrongdoings to and allowing the other person to listen and guide you through the power of the Holy Spirit.  This should be able to work the other way around as well.

Once again James 5:16 says to confess your sins to one another that you may be healed. There is something about confessing it that sets you free. Confess to one another and then pray.  The scripture says that the prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.

You get to choose to be held accountable and surrender it all to God.  Then when the other person prays for and with you, and together you believe (having no doubt) that it is done, you will see a difference.  It is something that needs to be consistent.

In this way, you both help each other go up the mountain of God. When one falls, the other is there to pick them back up.

KEY 3: Get in the “Secret Place” Daily
(It was 2:22pm exactly when I typed this part
out while listening to Kari Job’s album “The Garden”!)

It is in the Secret Place that God will reveal to you His deep and hidden secrets that you did not previously know. He will reveal new divine strategies, plans, and insights into many situations and circumstances around you.

“He reveals deep and mysterious things
and knows what lies hidden in darkness,
though he is surrounded by light.”

-Daniel 2:22

In this season, this is the very place that Satan has attacked. He has thrown many darts to prevent you from getting into the secret place with God.  Even the enemy knows the value of THE SECRET PLACE, then how much more should you know it?

The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy.
My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.”

-John 10:10

There is a time where you sit before God, with a heart of thankfulness and praise, and present your requests to God.  Then there is “The Secret Place” that God has been calling His people into since last summer.  So, God has been asking us of a double time with Him.  For God to call us into “The Secret Place”, means that it is a time where you just go sit before Him and say, “Here I am God, listening.  Speak to me.”  Then, just sit there quietly and wait upon Him.  Whether it takes 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes, just wait upon Him quietly.  He WILL speak.

If you have a hard time clearing your mind, ask the Holy Spirit to help you with that.  Turn on some worship music in the background to help your focus and atmosphere.   This is that time where you will not be the one speaking, you will be the listener sitting in the Gods Garden.  Being in The Secret Garden brings you to a deep level of intimacy with God.  In the most amazing way, you feel His closeness, unlike any other time.  It is definitely a place where He releases His secrets to you.

At this time, He is still calling us into that place, but to go even deeper and linger in that place.  By doing this, you will receive and capture what Heaven is releasing into the atmosphere around you.  Ask the Holy Spirit to help you with your schedule and ask for Gods Holy Angels to surround you for the purpose of helping you.   If you do your part and ask in full faith, it will happen for sure!

I believe that we are in a season of breakthrough, where God is revealing where Satan has been stealing from you, and in turn, once you respond accordingly then you are about to walk into an abundance of blessings from our Heavenly Father; as those doors get shut one by one.  This is one of the areas that Satan has been trying so hard to take from you.  The enemt has been working overtime!  Take your stand!  Go boldly in faith and get what is yours!

KEY 4:  “Yield to and Embrace” Gods Process

It is very important to yield to and embrace the process that God has you in.  Not only that but JOYFULLY!  Remember, it’s not all about you.  It’s ALL about HIM!  Whatever you do, do it for the Glory of God, for His name’s sake!  Do it for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven, which is at hand.  Do it because it is HIS glory that will shine a light through you for others to see Him in you.   Your obedience most likely is also someone else’s answered prayer and breakthrough.

If you are having a hard time letting go of your ways to embrace and yield to Gods process for you, then that is a “trust issue”.

Do you really trust God?

“5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.

Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom.
Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
Then you will have healing for your body
    and strength for your bones.”

-Proverbs 3:5-8 (NLT)

Take your time now and read the whole Proverbs 3 chapter.  It will help you.  Pay attention word by word, line by line and allow the Holy Spirit to minister to you.  Get before God and empty yourself out, so He can fill  you.

Learn to praise Him like Job did that you may not sin by blaming God for your situations and circumstances.  If you have blamed God at anytime, make sure to take the time to repent of that.  Be in a heart of thankfulness before God.  Think of all He has given you, bestowed upon you and all the things He has done for you.  Remember, all your days were written in His book (Psalm 139:16) and all things work together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

20 Job stood up and tore his robe in grief. Then he shaved
his head and fell to the ground to worship.
 21 He said,

“I came naked from my mother’s womb,
and I will be naked when I leave.
The Lord gave me what I had,
and the Lord has taken it away.
Praise the name of the Lord!”

22 In all of this, Job did not sin by blaming God.

-Job 1:20-22

Gods ways and thoughts are higher than our ways and our thoughts. God works outside the box.  His thinking our minds cannot comprehend.

“8 “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord.
“And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.
For just as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so my ways are higher than your ways
and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.”

-Isaiah 55:8-9

If He gave you the answers to all your “WHY?” questions, then how will you have learned the lesson of patience and trusting God?  We are called to “walk by faith and not by sight”.  If you had your, “WHY?” answer, how would you be able to take a step of faith completely trusting God?  How would you learn to take the faith that you have and apply action to it?

It is important to submit and surrender to God in full humility. No one can do it for you.  It is you that has to chose to let go of you and your ways and YIELD TO and EMBRACE the process God has for you.

According to the Google dictionary, YIELD is a verb (action word) and means to give way to arguments, demands, or pressure. It is another way to say: surrender, submit, relent, admit defeat, back down, give in, give up the struggle, raise/show the white flag.  This is an action word, it is something you actually have to do.

According to the Google dictionary, EMBRACE is a verb and means to accept or support a belief, theory, or change willingly and enthusiastically. It is another way to say welcome with open arms, accept, take up, take to one’s heart, adopt.  This is an action word, it is something you actually have to do.

Both YIELDING TO and EMBRACING is a process to surrender yourself, your own will, your own ways and giving into and accepting the ways of your Heavenly Father. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you when you are ready.

Here are some facts to consider:

  • God can see the things you are not able to see. He can see if a
decision you make or are about to make will cause you to hit a
dead end and starts alerting you in different ways.
  • Gods plans will always prosper you and not harm you. (Jer. 29:11)
  • Jesus loves you and has a plan for you.
  • God is faithful to fulfill what He spoke to you, but in His timing
and not yours. Because “father” knows best for His children.
He knows when and if you are ready to receive something.
  • All your days were already written in His book. (Psalm 139)

Well, there you have it!  Your 4 keys to tremendous breakthrough!

Having a dependable prayer and accountability partner has helped me by giving me a comfortable safe place to be fully open and transparent about the things I go through.   It is better to have it this way than to bottle things up inside of you.  Keeping many things inside of me was only hurting me and caused me extremely high levels of stress and anxiety over time.  It even affected my health.

Through experience, I can see how a person can become angry and bitter by not dealing with life’s issues appropriately.  From personal experience, I can say this can be very dangerous to one’s life and health.   By keeping things inside me for so long, it was hurting me and causing me to hurt others.  All that stuff starts to eat you up inside and then starts to physically manifest.

It really is extremely helpful and makes a huge difference if you can commit to having a prayer and accountability partner.  It works hand in hand.  After having applied these steps in my life quite recently, I have been set free for all anger and bitterness.  I feel free and can be who God created me to be!

I truly hope you will consider applying these things to your life, so you to can be set free through the power of Christ.  Jesus died and rose for you!  He conquered the darkness so you wouldn’t have to.  You are already victorious in Christ!  When you fight, fight from that place of victory!  God always wins and He is on your side.  It is never too late to start over again.

God bless you.  All the praise, honor, and glory be unto our living God alone!  Thank you, Jesus!

Prayer (as I hear it):

Dear Heavenly Father,

I lift up this child of God to you right now.  I cover him/her with the blood of Jesus from the tops of their head to the souls of their feet.  You know all his/her situations and circumstances, God.  I ask that you activate, release, command, and send forth a host of your Holy Heavenly Angels to go ahead of them to help them receive your will, plan, purpose, and destiny that you have already established in Heaven from before he/she was placed in their mother’s womb.

I pray, that you will divinely intercept them again, and help them apply these 4 keys in their life.   I decree and declare full restoration in the life of this child of God. I pray that all the years the locusts have eaten will be restored!  I pray that the enemy is caught and shall pay back 7 times (Proverbs 6:31).

I ask that you wash this child of God with your Shalom.  According to Philippians 4:7, release your peace that surpasses all understanding that will guard their hearts and minds NOW, in Jesus name.

I pray for you to release your strength to this child of God.  Strengthen them physically and spiritually in Jesus name NOW!  I decree and declare, according to Zechariah 4:6, that this child of God shall not go forth in his/her own might or power but rather through the spirit of God in Jesus name!

Breathe your breath upon this child of God NOW!  I speak refreshment in their spirit that can only come from you in Jesus name!

I decree and declare that the entire armor of God is placed upon this child of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).  I decree and declare that his/her armor of God is on fire with the garments of your vengeance with the cloak of the weapons of  your zeal (Isaiah 59:17)

I give you all the praise honor and glory.  I seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus.  I accept it in no other way than fully received because it is all asked in full faith in the name of Jesus Christ!  Amen and Amen!
