As wives, we are to submit to the authority of our husbands without fear or intimidation. Since God asks us to submit to our husbands, when we do it we are obeying God. Not submitting to our husbands’ authority is disobedience to God. Take this seriously, as the changes you seek in your life, are important to you. For any change to happen in your life, it needs to come purely and in truth from your heart and not just from the surface. Your motives and intentions matter.
Each one of us has a unique situation in our relationships. Seek the Holy Spirit for divine insight and strategy for your situation(s). Don’t ever forget the power in the name and blood of Jesus Christ. According to the written word of God, even if our husbands do not obey the Word of God, we as wives are still to submit to their authority.
Your positioning before God is important. So before you proceed to pray for the help to submit to the authority of your husbands, read the following:
- First of all, go through the prayer so that you know what you will be praying, as spoken words and agreements have power. You need to process it in your mind so that you understand what you are about to speak forth; because when you ask by faith in the name of Jesus, it will happen.
- Take the time to repent of any known unknown, intentional and unintentional disobedience to God and renounce it.
- After that ask Him for forgiveness and for His continued hand of grace, mercy, and favor upon your life.
- Ask God to replace what you just broke off with His strength and His boldness to move forward.
Ask all of it in full faith believing that when you ask in the name of Jesus you WILL receive it.
“12 “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me
will do the same works I have done, and even greater works,
because I am going to be with the Father. 13 You can ask for
anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son
can bring glory to the Father. 14 Yes, ask me for
anything in my name, and I will do it!”

Say: According to the written Word of God, in 1 Peter 3, I speak into my own spirit and soul and I declare:
“(take your own name), be devoted to your husband, (take his name), so that even if he doesn’t obey the Word of God, your kind conduct will win him over without you saying a thing. For when (take your husbands name), observes your pure, godly life before God, it will impact him deeply.
(take your name), let your true beauty come from your inner personality, and not a focus on the external. For your lasting beauty comes from a gentle and peaceful spirit, which is precious in God’s sight and is much more important than the outward adornment of elaborate hair, jewelry, and fine clothes.
As it is written, (take your name), Holy women of long ago who set their hopes on God beautified themselves with lives lived in deference to their husbands. (Take your name), beautify yourself by your life lived in deference to your husband, (take his name)’s authority. Just like the example of our “mother” Sarah, who devoted herself to her husband Abraham, and even called him master. (Take your name), you are her daughter when you do what is right without fear and intimidation.
Holy Spirit, I am telling you that I agree with what the Word of God says in 1 Peter 3:1-6. Holy Spirit, both fierce and gentle, flow through me and do what only you can do. I chose to have this Word penetrate into my soul and spirit, now come, Holy Spirit and help me supernaturally flow in it.
I seal this prayer, across every existing and to all levels of, timelines, ages, realms, dimensions in Jesus name.
Everything I have asked, I asked in Jesus name and I fully believe that it is all received NOW! Amen and amen.”
